In Today’s Soapbox Talk, our Friend, my Mentor, Dean Holland talks about the Business Model of Affiliate Marketing. In my opinion this is a good business model for you to start out with to get yourself going with an online business. Of course there are other niches where you can choose to get an online business going and there was a member of our group that recently began to question her choice of niche.

If you’re just in the beginning stages of this business model, Dean gives us a quick overview of what work is like as an Affiliate Marketer. Dean went on to explain to our cohort that no matter what niche you choose, you will need to master the fundamentals of marketing – and what better way than as an affiliate.

You can do this and find those people online. Then bridge the gap from them to the product you are an affiliate for. I think it even better if you were to get Dean’s free book sent to you. Work yourself through the chapters and exercises to help yourself understand if the Affiliate Marketer niche is in fact what you need to get your online business going. That’ll give you a better idea of what’s involved and if that niche is going to do it for you.
