Life-Work Balance
In the working world there is much talk about work-life balance. In the format of work-life, one puts the emphasis on the “Work” then add some “life” to give you the balance. For me, I prefer to emphasize “Life”, hence a Life-Work balance. Then I let the work revolve around my life. This also gives reason to my tag line on this blog, “Tips and Trips for Affiliate Marketers.”
Trips to Keep Us Going
Where do you go to get away? Leave me a comment below to let me and other readers know. I do suggest you take regular local trips to get out and rejuvenate the soul. My travel bud Randy, and I took a recent local trip to do just that. We hopped on a bus to take us from Calgary to Banff. We spent the day hiking around town giving us a nice life-work balance.
Consistency in Life and Work
We’ve done this trip before and we consistently hike from town; along the Bow River; on to the Bow Falls; then up the hill to walk through the halls of the Banff Springs Hotel; then back to town for some lunch; and then to catch a bus up to the Banff Gondola; to sit and watch the gondolas moving up and down the mountain; and finally make our way back into town to catch the bus back to Calgary. We have consistently taken this trek two times now. I would like to suggest to you that consistency makes for good habits. And it is something we need to strive for in our businesses online – so as to maintain a healthy Life-Work Balance.
