Test Test Test!

Test Test Test is not doing a mic test, “Test 1 2”. 🎙️

 

It is actually a comment from my mentor Dean Holland during September’s results review to me.

 

We get a monthly review from Dean only if we upload our tracking stats to him at the first of the month.

 

I really value Dean’s time on these reviews as they result in advice for how I should move forward in my online business for the next 30 days.

 

Tracking and Analytics

One of the challenges of people in North America who want to make money online with affiliate marketing is tracking and analytics.

 

As a Certified Partner at Internet Profits out of the UK, Dean expects me to track my stats on a daily basis.

 

Dean provides a very simple spreadsheet for me to fill out the number of clicks; the number of opted-in leads; how much we spent on ads; and commissions earned.

 

And after submitting my monthly results – I let Dean get back to me with his analytics.

 

So, just in a very basic form – we have tracking and analytics covered. No  challenge here!

 

But enough about tracking and analytics for now – I need to get to the point..

 

Traffic Strategies

We are encouraged right from the start to pick one organic traffic strategy and one paid traffic strategy and focus on those.

 

Of course there is no ad spend on an organic traffic strategy such as this here blog, and for me – my monthly review stats page contains details from my paid traffic strategy – Facebook Lead Ads.

 

And it is an ad of mine on Facebook Lead Ads that needs the testing – according to Dean.

 

My results felt flukishly (yes that’s a word 😜 ) impressive in September of 2023.

Results from the New Ad

Five days is about all I could take.

 

I took Meta’s advice and turned that first pattern interrupt picture into a video using a series of pictures.

 

Man did that bomb! I had hardly any impressions and the clicks and opt-in leads were non-existent.

 

Back to the drawing board to keep that testing momentum up…

 

Regardless of those results, my main ad continues to do it’s work – showing folks a better way to start making money online – The New Way.
