Affiliate Marketing Luck
If you ask the Edge Co-pilot it will tell you affiliate marketing luck is not a quantifiable factor.
However in my opinion, earning good amounts of commission as an affiliate marketer depends on my top four factors that I outline below – mixed with a healthy amount of luck.
My Top Four Factors
These top four factors figure in – when I work hard to bring value to my customers – and affiliate marketing luck has a role to play.
1. Choice of Products and Services
2. Commission Rates
3. Traffic and Opt-in Rates
4. Affiliate Accountability
Products and Services
I am certainly proud of being a Certified Partner with the company Internet Profits out of the UK.
They have a good mix of products and services that I can promote to my customers which they can start with the simple ordering of a free book to read.
There are products for my customers that only require a quick jump-start to their efforts in getting an online business going.
And there are mentoring and coaching services for those customers that require more over-the-shoulder advice.
Commission Rates
I’m more than happy with learning that Internet Profits rewards me for the work that I put in – with some exceptional commission rates.
Those rates appear slightly higher than rates for comparable lower end products I’ve seen elsewhere.
I’ve considered it to be affiliate marketing luck to have somehow found Dean Holland and his Internet Profits company.
The coaching services such as the Accelerator Service that I have subscribed to range from 30% – 50% which personally I have not seen elsewhere.
Traffic and Opt-in Rates
Affiliate marketing luck comes into play with my promotional efforts through Facebook Lead Ads.
It took a little bit of testing up front to find the impressions that best draw in my customers to have a closer look at how this might benefit them.
And the proof of being on the right track is with my opt-in rates being 50% and over – month after month (four full months thus far).
Affiliate Accountability
I really like this one on affiliate accountability where affiliate marketing luck surprised me in how it came into play.
My paid traffic strategy with the Facebook Lead ads allows me to build a list of potential customers whom I feel a responsibility towards in bringing them valuable content that benefits their efforts with making money online.
Over time my potential customers will learn of both low-end and higher end products that they can use.
But the accountability piece surprised me.
Once a potential customer is on my list, any purchases that are made out side of my promotions are attributed to me.
This is – in fact – how I made four figures in commissions in September of 2023.

In Summary
I attribute a certain amount of affiliate marketing luck to the good amounts of commission that I’ve made thus far.
But the top four factors that I’ve outlined above for earning good commissions can be attributed to a my hard work.
Do have a listen to Dean Holland to see what he has to say on the matter:
The real question is, “Do You have what it takes to make that magic happen?“.
I know I do.
Let me know in the comments below a time where you’ve been successful online and where luck, timing and opportunity are mixed with hard work to bring you some of that magic.
