Fly Like Fish
The code has been broken and you can now Fly Like Fish. In other words think outside the box.
This blog post is short and sweet – and it’s directed towards affiliate marketers and other online marketers that like to use AI to create images with LEGIBLE text. You read that right!
How many times have you prompted your favourite AI to create an image and the text comes up as giberish?
Headline in my Inbox
I don’t know about you, but these days my email inbox needs daily cleaning up.
I just skim through all the headlines and typically I select them all and mark them as read.
And some days – like today – a headline caught my eye,
“How to generate images with legible text using AI“.
I knew immediately I had to check it out.
Simple Instructions
The instructions were as simple as can be.
- Go to Ideogram’s website and sign up.
You will be prompted to login with Google or Apple. - Write in your prompt.
The AI tool can even come up with a prompt for you. - Select the aspect ratio, model, and color palette of your choice.
- Choose from five distinct styles: General, Realistic, Design, 3D, and Anime.
For text images choose Design as the style. - Once everything is to your liking, click the Generate button.
Your image with legible text is generated.
It took me just a short while to figure out how to download my image.
Just click the elipsis (three dots) next to your name / handle and make your selection.
Conclusion
I told you this post, “Fly Like Fish” would be short and sweet.
The code has been broken and you’ve been told about an AI tool that can consistently generate images with legible text.
You can check out this YouTube video for further instructions that even explains why to use this AI Tool over others for your AI generated images.
I even have a prior post you can check out for further information about Aspect Ratios and Resolutions for your images.
The first image I had generated by Ideogram spells it out nicely, “The Iceberg Effect” and “Dean Holland” – all legible – amazing!
I mean this penguin knows his way around the iceberg. He knows what his fans like. He knows you want to know more about organic means. FLY LIKE A FISH!
Now I just need to figure out how to keep the fish from flying, lol. Or maybe they are sending us a message to think outside the water or think outside of the box – as the case may be.
I have a few links for you to checkout either on the sidebar if on PC or below if on mobile.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve found other AI tools that consistently generate legible text.
Nice article Bob. There are so many AI tools out there now that you really need people to recommend ones that they have tried and have found to work, so thanks for the recommendation.
I’m going in to have a play around with it to see if it will do what I want it to do.
Thanks Bob.
Hello – That has been one of my struggles with AI from the beginning… generating usable graphics and art. I have not tried the resource that you recommend in this blog post and I will definitely check it out as an option. Thanks for your constant tips and for your advice on so many topics. Have a wonderful day, my friend!
Love the simplicity and effectiveness of this post, Bob! You’ve definitely cracked the code with this AI tool for generating images with legible text. I’ve definitely run into the issue of gibberish text in images, so this tip is a lifesaver!
The “Fly Like Fish” concept is genius, too. It’s a fun way to remind us to think outside the box (or outside the water, in this case). 😂
I’m curious—have you found any other AI tools that work well for creating engaging content, or is this your go-to for now? Thanks again for the tip!
Thanks for reading and the compliments, Alison! “Fly Like Fish” came to me by accident with this AI generation…who knows why the AI figured that fish should be flying in the air – but I will certainly continue to use this. I am mainly using ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s Gemini. But they are all free accounts and in no time at all I think they all will improve and it’s not going to matter which you use – but more importantly how you chat with it with specific prompts. With further use I will likely figure out which one I should go Pro with for more functionality. Incidently I read that I am pronouncing Ideogram wrong. It’s eye-dee-oh-gram.

Thanks for the tip! As Allison pointed out, sometimes the Ai tool creates corrupted images and text. More and more AI platforms are released everyday, and certainly we’ll never use them all. Nor would I want to try!!
Hi, Bob!
Thanks so much for the recommendation! I’ve been struggling with this very thing, so it’s much appreciated 🙂 I usually find a way to create an image that does what I want without any text. This is a much better solution!

Hey Bob, as always it’s a very useful tip you gave us here! Yes me too I’m annoyed by the text AI can’t figure out how to handle and other artifacts related to image processing. Since there are people who did target the issue at Ideogram that can bank on it, we’ll start to see others applying the same fix to their systems in a short while.
Have a great day!
Martin
Hi Bob,
This was a really helpful post! I’ve tried using AI to generate images with text before, but most of the time, the words come out as unreadable gibberish. It’s frustrating when you want to create something visually appealing with clear messaging.
I appreciate the simple step-by-step instructions for using Ideogram. It’s great to know there’s an AI tool that actually gets the text right! I’ll definitely check it out and see how well it works. Thanks for sharing this, super useful for anyone creating AI-generated images!
